Terms & Conditions

Commercial Cleaning Service

When booking a commercial cleaning service with SOS Support Services Pty Ltd you agree to the terms and conditions as listed below.

These terms and conditions constitute the full and complete service agreement (the “Agreement” between you (the “customer”) and SOS Support Services Pty Ltd of 1 Ducat Street Tweed Heads NSW 2485, Australia for the provision of services by SOS Support Services Pty Ltd.

The service will be for such cleaning duties as agreed with the customer at the time of booking.

minimum of 2 hours cleaning per visit is required at a fee of $77.00 including GST. After hours penalty rates apply if the service is required outside business hours.

If SOS Support Services Pty Ltd is required to collect keys from a third party’s address a $15.00 fee will apply.

If the customer requires any additional services they must contact SOS Support Services Pty Ltd by phone or email.  The cleaner is not authorised to agree to any changes to the service provided.

If the customer requires the cleaner to clean behind or under any heavy items e.g. fridge, the customer will move those items prior the clean.

The customer will secure or remove any fragile, delicate, breakable or valuable items, including cash prior to commencement of the cleaning service.

The cleaner is entitled to undertake a job safety analysis if the service provided is not within business hours. 

The customer may cancel a cleaning visit by giving at least 24 hours advanced notice.  The customer may also terminate the whole service by giving a two week advanced notice in writing.

The customer agrees to pay $30.00 cancellation fee per cleaner in the event of a lock out caused by our cleaners being turned away, no one at the premises to let them in or there is a problem with the keys.

If the customer is dissatisfied for any reason with the Service provided, they must inform SOS Support Services Pty Ltd within 24 hours of completion of the Service.  We will endeavour to solve the problem quickly and efficiently by a partial or full refund, re-supply the service without charge or such other remedy as deemed appropriate by SOS Support Services Pty Ltd.

SOS Support Services Pty Ltd will provide a Tax invoice at the end of each month. The customer agrees to pay SOS Support Services Pty Ltd by the end of the following month by direct debit, bank transfer, credit card or cheque.  Payments not received within this time period will incur a late fee of $15.00.  Interest of 10% will apply to any invoices that are outstanding for over 4 weeks.

As SOS Support Services Pty Ltd invests significantly in recruiting and training its cleaners the customer agrees that after the termination of our cleaning service he/she will not hire or use any domestic service provided by a present or past cleaner introduced to the customer by SOS Support Services Pty Ltd.  If the customer does wish to hire or use domestic services provided by such a cleaner then he/she must pay a referral fee of $1,000.00.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant Australian laws, and by agreeing to be bound by them the customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of Australia.


Domestic Cleaning Service

When booking a Domestic cleaning service with SOS Support Services Pty Ltd you agree to the terms and conditions as listed below.

These terms and conditions constitute the full and complete service agreement (the “Agreement” between you (the “customer”) and SOS Support Services Pty Ltd of 1 Ducat Street Tweed Heads NSW 2485, Australia for the provision of services by SOS Support Services Pty Ltd.

The service will be for such cleaning duties as agreed with the customer at the time of booking.

minimum of 2 hours cleaning per visit is required at a fee of $65.00.  If SOS Support Services Pty Ltd is required to collect keys from a third party’s address a $15.00 fee will apply.

End of Lease

By ordering SOS Support Services Pty Ltd service by telephone, e-mail, fax or our web site the customer agrees to be bound by SOS Support Services Pty Ltd’s Terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions constitute the full and complete service agreement (the “Agreement” between you (the “customer”) and SOS Support Services Pty Ltd of 1 Ducat Street Tweed Heads NSW 2485, Australia, for the provision of cleaning services by SOS Support Services Pty Ltd.

  1. minimum of 4 hours cleaning is required at a fee of $150.00.
  2. The property must be vacant  on the day of the cleaning and continue to be vacant afterwards with no person(s) or animals remaining there
  3. If SOS Support Services Pty Ltd has carried out a full End Of Lease clean we will go back if notified within 5 days and correct any defaults at no extra cost except in the following instances:
  4. When building or maintenance work has been carried out at the property during or after the cleaning has been finished.
  5. The property has been left open or unlocked, and had unwanted patrons enter after the cleaning service.
  6. The property has been damaged in any way from weather conditions or other such acts after the cleaning.
  7. The property must have working electricity with safe and usable electrical outlets, working lights in all rooms and must have running hot water.
  8. An additional fee of $15.00 will be charged to pick up and drop of keys from real estate’s or premises other than the property being cleaned.
  9. SOS Support Services Pty Ltd reserves the right to amend the initial quotation should the clients’ original requirement change or if the property was described differently during the initial verbal or written quote.
  10. The price does not include replacing light bulbs but this can be added if required.
  11. If at the commencement or during the course of providing the Service, it is apparent that the actual cost of the Service will exceed the quote provided by SOS Support Services Pty Ltd, SOS Support Services Pty Ltd will provide the customer with the option to pay an increased fee to complete the Service, or pay the quoted amount without the Service being completed.
  12. A deposit / booking fee of $150.00 will be taken when the booking is made which will be deducted from the final invoice.  The Customer agrees to provide SOS Support Services Pty Ltd with their valid credit card details and authorises SOS Support Services Pty Ltd to debit the card with an amount equal to any service fee that may apply under this Agreement on the completion of the service unless prior arrangement has been made with SOS Support Services Pty Ltd.
  13. SOS Support Services Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for bonds held back by real estate agents or owners for additional rent charges or other such charges accrued.
  14. SOS Support Services Pty Ltd will not be responsible for existing damage, stains or breakage due to the age of fittings.
